Career Presentation
Career shared: Being a college scholar-athlete
Things we may do: Talk about the “job” of being a student and an athlete at the high school and college level. Do a typical 24-hour-day time management activity. Identify the academic, social, and personal skills needed to be a successful student-athlete. Explore personal talents and possible careers—because being an athlete rarely leads to a paying job! Going to college, you need to know what kinds of careers and then majors make sense for how you want to make a living. This also relates to student musicians!
