Things We May Do:

Art will show you the many roles he plays to oversee an apartment complex. He is in charge of serving the homeowners, managing staff to take care of the property and buildings, and managing staff to handle finances and accounting, including monthly rental tax fees. Art will also show you how he interacts with his board of directors and the city on behalf of his homeowners and their association. You will learn about lots of different roles needed at all condominium, apartment, and townhouse complexes.

Prerequisites

Age level: may be modified for 1st through 12th graders

Interests: property management, community advocacy, small business ownership

Previous Classes/Knowledge: basic skills, leadership and team skills
